Olivier Rousteing Has That Je Ne Sais Racial Quoi

Olivier Rousteing's appointment as the new designer at Balmain came as a bit of a letdown to fashion insiders. No one doubts that Rousteing, 25 years old, is qualified for the job, but he doesn't come with a big reputation and a glossy image.

In recent years, it's almost been a requirement that any designer tapped to run a major fashion house bring star power along with the resume. But perhaps those days are coming to a close. Rousteing, a veritable unknown, had been quietly laboring behind the scenes at Balmain since 2009 under its recently departed designer, Christophe Decarnin, who re-energized the house with his signature rock 'n' roll style. Before that, Rousteing spent five years working his way up to head of design for women's and men's collections for Roberto Cavalli-the Italian designer who makes Bacchus look restrained.

In reality, though, Rousteing brings something far more interesting than millions of Google hits: diversity.

Hines Ward Handcuffed at Gunpoint, Released By Cops After "Misunderstanding"

Pittsburgh Steelers star and Dancing With the Stars frontrunner Hines Ward was in a car that was pulled over by police early this morning in Los Angeles.

Police drew their weapons and handcuffed Ward and the woman was driving driving around 2 a.m., based on reports that the Civic they were in was stolen.

The woman explained that she had reported the car stolen after an incident involving a valet, then forgot to tell the police when later she got the car back.

Officers verified her story and Ward was released. He writes:

Hines and Kym Johnson cut a rug on Dancing With the Stars.

"The incident in the news that involved me getting pulled over. I want everyone to know that this was a complete misunderstanding. The police were just doing their job. Apologies were made and it's now in the past. Moving forward... Hines"

Good to hear. On an unrelated note, think he can win DWTS?

Jamie McKay Debuts on 16 and Pregnant, Accuses Ryan McElrath of Cocaine Abuse

16 and Pregnant is a gift that keeps on giving ... if you like to watch teen train wrecks with kids. The latest troubled twosome? Jamie McKay and Ryan McElrath.

The 17-year-old McKay, who was introduced on the MTV show last night, claims McElrath, her baby daddy, is irresponsible and has a cocaine problem.

Naturally, she wants sole custody of their daughter.

Ryan McElrath in 16 and Pregnant Drama

Jamie McKay filed court docs in North Carolina claiming 18-year-old Ryan McElrath is "not responsible and not in a position to provide a stable environment."

Jamie claims Ryan has a "history of driving while under the influence of alcohol" and a "history of cocaine abuse." She believes he's been "up to no good."

Jamie wants Ryan to be granted supervised visitation at the local Family Visitation Center as well as "submit to appropriate drug and alcohol assessments."

The couple, quickly giving Josh Smith and Jennifer Del Rio a run for their crazy money, is set to face off in court on June 13. Expect fireworks.

You can roll up any old long pair or buy a pair of precuffed - straight, skinny or bootcut, the cuff adds a pop to your ankles and shows off your shoes.

Dressed Down

Cuffed jeans are easy to wear with sneaker or flats. Halle Berry's boyfriend jeans work well cuffed since they're loose fitting and look casual and cool.

Dressed Up
