Beauty Pick Me Up - Ready, Set, Glow!

imageNow that the days are longer and the sun is shining brighter, we're shedding our cold weather layers! Another thing to shed? Pasty skin! Now that Spring is here, that means we'll be showing a lot more skin and who wants to flaunt pale legs and shoulders that haven't seen the light of day in months?

Maybe it's still a little too chilly to go sunbathing by the pool, or perhaps you just don't have the time in your busy schedule and it's no secret that tanning beds just aren't good for you. But we still want that warm, sexy glow now! Luckily for us, self tanners are everywhere these days and we've narrowed it down to our top five self-tanner picks that we've tried and loved. Check out why then click the slideshow!

Jergens - Natural Glow Express Body Moisturizer: When it comes to drugstore brands, this is one of the originals and the best. At less than $9.00 for 4oz., the price is right and the express version delivers! Get believable, even color in just three days! The only down side? We're sold on the price and color, but there is the tell-tale self tanner scent.

Clarins - 'Delectable' Self Tanning Mousse: Color applies evenly and appears after only a few uses and gives a warm, sexy glow! It dries very quickly with minimal tell-tale self tanner scent and with the addition of Mirabelle oil, it leaves skin soft and smooth, making it a great 3-in-1 product of self tanner, skin moisturizer and sun care lotion!

Victoria's Secret - Sunkissed Bronze Instant Self Tan Lotion: Instant color! We watched ourselves turn into bronze goddesses before our very eyes! Plus, the color lasts and at only $12.00 for 6oz, we're loving the price! The one down side? It takes a little longer to dry than the 5 minutes is claims so make sure you have a little extra time before getting dressed.

St. Tropez - Tanning Essentials Self Tan Bronzing Lotion: With a silky feel and light floral scent, this self tanner feels more like a nice body lotion than a self tanner! It builds believable color quickly and dries quickly. The down side? The color doesn't seem to last longer than a couple days so stock up!

Jane Iredale - Tantasia Self Tanner: It smells like grapefruits and goes on smoothly and streak free. You see a slightly more bronze tone within the first application and builds gradually and believably. The color lasts a long time too and is great for sensitive skin!
