New Study Reveals Average Women Spend at Most $49 on Shoes. Where Do You Fall?

Shop Smart magazine recently polled 1,000 women to assess their shoe shopping habits. The results? Most women own 17 pairs of shoes, and an overwhelming majority spend at most $49 a pop.

The study also revealed that a minority -- 33% -- of women spend $100 or more on their shoes. 39% prefer flats over anything else, 29% feel comfortable buying shoes online and only 25% have worn shoes that are four inches or higher.
